Getting there
- By plane: Menorca Airport (Maó) takes direct flights from mainland Spain and, in season, several European cities. The fastest option.
- By ferry: from Barcelona, Valencia and Palma (Mallorca). You can bring your car — handy for a longer stay.
Getting around
- Rental car: the freest way to discover coves and towns. Book ahead in summer; demand is high.
- Bus: connects the main towns and, in season, several beaches (useful when car access to the coves is restricted).
- On foot or by bike: for stretches of the Camí de Cavalls and the historic centres.
Tip: in July and August, many cove car parks fill by mid-morning. Start early or use the seasonal bus.
